MITSUBA was established in May 2014 with its sole flagship outlet at The Central. In Aug 2021, in the midst of the global Pandemic, it expanded from an original 2,216 sf to the current 5,350 sf space and currently offers three Alacarte Menus – Regular Buffet, Premium Buffet, and Simply Alacarte (including Omakase). Over 80,000 dine annually at the restaurant; the majority of whom opting for the buffet menus. Founded by retired banker and International Kikisake-shi WILLIAM CHIA who believes that one can enjoy a sumptuous and healthy Japanese meal without burning a hole in the pocket. Thus, the focus is on quality of ingredients, proper preparation of dishes, fast and friendly service, conducive dining settings, and great teamwork.
