Christopher Winslow, currently with Summa Franchise Consulting, started his career as a diplomat working with the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce. Upon completion of his MBA (Denver University), began what has become a long career in international.
Having worked on all sides of the international equation; he instigates a fundamental shift in how brands think and operate: turning US brands that happen to have international operations into Global brands that happen to have their HQS in the US. He has served as a Regional Manager, Vice President, Managing Director, and President across various concepts, and has had the pleasure of residing in Morocco, Venezuela, Belgium, Greece, Hong Kong, China, and the United Kingdom.
During his career, he has been charged with sales and operations responsibility on 6 continents in over 60 countries, directing and managing all aspects from overseeing start-ups to executive management. Assigned broad global P&L responsibility, he has overseen operating budgets ranging from $1 to $100 million and owned > 300 stores in 3 countries along with growing one brand to over 600 units abroad. Key clients have included UPS, FedEx, JC Penney, e-Bay, Xerox, American Express, Microsoft and others expanding their product lines abroad.
