Wong Liang Kok is currently the Senior Director at Tan Peng Chin LLC (TPC Law) which is in the top 25 regarding the number of legal professionals among all law firms in Singapore.
Liang Kok obtained a Bachelor of Laws (2nd Upper) from the National University of Singapore on a Singapore Press Holdings Scholarship in 1992 and a Master of Laws (Merit) from the University College of London in 1995. He has since been doing solicitor’s work for local and foreign clientele across borders. He has thus developed long-standing working relationships with TPC Law’s clients, many of whom he has seen
through their incorporations, mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, restructurings, fundraisings, divestments, and trade sales.
Intellectual Property (IP) rights are of increasing importance and value, and give strategic advantage, to businesses; in this practice area of law, Liang Kok advises and assists clients on how to identify, protect and monetise their IP rights covering trademark registration and prosecution, IP due diligence and valuation, trade secret protection, and licensing and franchising (in Singapore and overseas).
Liang Kok is also a Commissioner for Oaths, a Notary Public, and a member of the Inquiry Panel.
