Joe & Dough was founded in 2009 by Damien and Dawn, a husband-and-wife team, with the dream to deliver the best coffee and bakes experience. Having lived in Brisbane for many years, Damien was greatly inspired by the vibrant coffee and unique food culture in Australia. This sparked his passion for specialty coffee and his love for fresh and quality ingredients

Our Joe & Dough Symbol is a graphic resembling with the outline representing wheat and the solid sections representing Arabica Beans. It symbolises Joe & Dough’s steadfast belief in providing honest, handcrafted food and coffee using the freshest ingredients. The 6 grains define our philosophy and represent our dedication to quality in these 6 areas:

Each cup of coffee is made with the sincere belief that everyone deserves a great-tasting cup of quality coffee. We like to make coffee that our customers will enjoy and appreciate — flavourful, comfortingly familiar with a sense of assurance and authenticity.  It gives us great joy and satisfaction to deliver a delightful coffee experience to our customers, and to see them enjoying our coffee every time.

We prepare our food with care, earnestness and pride, and we serve our food with respect for our customers. Everything is about getting the basics right and doing things skilfully in the correct way. Our strength has always been simplicity — we don’t try to do a lot but what we do, we do it very well with a great deal of passion and commitment. There is nothing complicated, just real quality food made by people who care.

Because, why so serious? Our Specialty Coffee is brewed with fresh quality beans (2 weeks from roasting), combined with a strong coffee program.  We aim to make coffee experiential and fun with innovative and modern coffee concoctions that will delight both the young and old.
