Kimming Yap is the managing director of Creativeans, a brand and design management consultancy headquartered in Singapore.
Kimming is a certified management consultant and an expert in brand and design strategies. He has collaborated with partners across a broad range of industries, including consumer goods, healthcare, beauty, food & beverage, technology, furniture, finance, industrial, retail and government.
A recipient of multiple design awards, Kimming’s works have been widely published and exhibited at international platforms such as Salone del Mobile, London Design Festival and Triennale Design Museum. He is also the author of the branding book 'Are You Brand Dead?' and serves on the judging panel of the Singapore Prestige Brand Award.
Kimming currently serves as a Council Member and Chairman of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation's Lifestyle Industry Group and is on the Executive Committee of the Design Business Chamber Singapore. In 2019, he was conferred the title of Distinguished Professor at the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts.
He holds a Master of Design from Domus Academy, Milan.
