Hung is the practice leader of the Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group of Vietnam offices. For years, he has been constantly ranked as a leading IP lawyer by numerous researchers such as Chambers Global and Chambers Asia. He has represented some of the world's largest multinational companies in all aspects of commercial intellectual property, including franchising and licensing arrangements.

Over decades, Hung's reputation has been earned through successful cases in advising global and regional companies on their franchise agreements and obtaining franchise registration in Vietnam. Some of these deals were the first-ever franchise projects in the country within the sectors of fashion retail, cosmetics, hospitality, and convenience stores.

Hung regularly writes articles concerning hot legal issues, published regularly in various reputable publications. He also speaks regularly at IP/franchising workshops and seminars and lectures frequently on lawyering skills at several leading universities, including:
